How to earn XP and Level Up!
You might have noticed while chatting in our Telegram that the Elondex will tell you that you’ve earned XP. Earn enough XP and you’ll gain levels. Earn enough levels and you’ll reach the leaderboard. End up on the leaderboard and you’ll be eligible to win the rarest Pokelon NFTs available.
This guide will walk you through the surprisingly deep mechanics of leveling up and everything you can win!
XP, Ranks, The Leaderboard and Golden Hour
Every time you chat, you have a chance to earn XP. Sometimes, however, you’ll notice that you’ve earned Bonus XP. Bonus XP has a 1 in 10 chance of triggering every time you chat and gives you 10x modifier to the ordinary XP you’d earn from chatting.
Earn enough XP and you’ll level up and achieve a new rank. There are over 100 completely unique ranks!
You can check your XP and level at anytime by typing !me in the chat. If you’d like to see your position on the leaderboard, type !toplvl
Every day, one hour before the giveaway, we hold “Golden Hour”. With Golden Hour, you have chance to earn a LOT of XP. Ordinary messages can be worth as high as 1000x the normal XP. Every 15 minutes, the modifier increases and you can earn even more! It gets pretty crazy!
How do I check my XP?
To check your XP and current level: Type !me in the chat.
To see the leaderboard: Type !toplvl
Does XP reset?
Yep. We reset XP every two weeks to give new people a chance to reach the top of the leaderboard.
What happens if I reach a really high level?
Eventually once you’ve earned enough levels, you’ll end up on the leaderboard. Three times a week, we hold special giveaways for people who are on the leaderboard.
After a reset, it’s usually open to the Top 50 on the leaderboard. But with every giveaway, the amount decreases. So the next giveaway might be Top 40, Top 30, Top 20 and eventually, Top 3 and Top 1.
For the final giveaway in a 2 week session, we offer an extremely rare NFT to the person who wins the Top 1 Giveaway.
Potions, Poisons and Antidotes
What if I told you that you can boost your levels with special items and even sabotage other players by decreasing their level with other items?
Staying on top of the leaderboard can get tough and the competition can be fierce. That’s why we’ve created three items that can increase your chances of staying on top of the pile and winning a giveaway. These can be earned on the Farm and can be used at any time except Golden Hour.
XP Potion: This item allows you to gain three levels, instantaneously. You can only use two of these within in a 2 week period.
Poison Mist: Reduces one user’s current level by 3. Can only be used twice a week, per person.
Antidote: If you’ve been poisoned, you can use this item to recover 2 levels lost to poison. Can be use twice per week, per person.
